Grub London is a catering company creating unique experiences at some of the most exciting and unusual places in London.

We began life as a series of pop-up restaurants, a meeting point of the interests of lifelong friends chef Matt Klose and architect Sam Cooper. The inaugural event at the Deptford Project railway carriage was a sell-out success.

Following repeated requests from guests the catering arm was launched in 2012, making the Grub London ethos available for hire! We cater for anything from a corporate Champagne & canapé event, to a sit down wedding, to your own Grub London dinner party in your home. We offer a complete service providing innovative, delicious food, sourcing venues, managing hire equipment and licenses, working with the best additional chefs, waiting and bar staff. We work with local producers wherever possible using only the best ingredients to achieve our trademark creative, tasty and exciting food.

Matt designs a bespoke menu for each event, working with the best produce of the season and with sensitivity to the character of the space. Dishes are created, prepared and thoughtfully presented to ensure the food is as memorable as the venue and atmosphere, to give a unique and special occasion every time.

Recommendations from Sir Terence Conran, collaborations with Vice magazine, compliments from Vivienne Westwood...  Grub London has wowed the palates of a diverse range of clients and their guests.  Check out our Archive page for inspiration from some of our favourite past events, or our Food section for examples of current menus...
